ApacheCon US 2009 is this next week in Oakland. As usual, I have high hopes for all the things I want to do (but probably won’t have time for). I figure that if I publicly share them now, I might have a better chance of getting at least a few done.
- Attend the NoSQL Meetup Monday night
- Attend the OSGi Meetup on Tuesday night.
- Want to pick the brains of the Sling folks on a few questions I have
- Take all that good advice I get from the Sling and Felix committers and contribute back some documentation
- Help get Karaf feature definitions public for both Sling and ActiveMQ so that I can install them easily
- Follow up on the upcoming Apache events in Beijing and Sri Lanka and get a website setup for them
- Check in with Tony on next steps for the ApacheCon websites
- Track down Peter Royal and quiz him about multiplayer servers for Flash
- Talk to the Apache infra folks about setting up a Wave server somewhere (a zone perhaps)? (crazy talk, I know)
- Sit down with Geir and help with any outstanding ASF treasury issues
Oh, and share a sneak-preview of Indie-Arcade with anyone who is interested.
I get into town at noon on Monday. Unfortunately I miss the first part of BarCamp and the Hackathon; and I’m cutting my trip a bit short and heading back to Pittsburgh next Saturday. So it’s going to be a busy week. Still, if you’re attending or just in town and want to meet up, let me know!
