That was weird
Skype (version 2.6.0.148) just crashed on my Macbook Pro. I wasn’t effected by the Skype outage a few weeks ago because I’m always logged in. Anyway, Skype crashed and restarted. Oddly, instead of automatically logging in like it should, I had to actually remember my username and password. More oddly, the Skype client marked all of my previous voicemails (60 some) as new and un-listened. Most oddly of all, when I clicked to mark them all ‘viewed’, all 60 voicemails started playing back simultaneously. It was a chorus of “Hello!”, “Call me back”, and “I’ll talk to you later.” Sixty some different little messages, instants of memory, collided. It was interesting enough that I almost wish I had thought of doing it myself.
Anyway, in more relevant news, the new website for OS Summit Asia 2007 has been launched. I’ll be posting details about the website and the deployment process later today.
