The Avalon Platform

For me it’s an interesting turn of events because at one time I was on the “Avalon as umbrella project” side of the fence but eventually realized that we need to focus on unity first. There are other places, like JContainer.org which can serve as a central point for all things IoC. For now, we at Avalon need to work on developing a single solid platform.

Of course, that vote was the easy one. We now have a lot of work to establish a consistent set of standards. Everyone has his own favorites, so consensus may not be found so quickly this time, but at least we’re agreed on the general direction.
